The Guidance Department at NRMS plays an active role in the growth and development of the middle school-aged student. Counselors act as consultants to team teachers working with your child, as well as consultants to administration. Counselors problem solve with the students, teachers, and parents in an attempt to shape positive behaviors. Counselors are an intricate link to ensure communication among all those involved in the education of the middle school-aged child.
